VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Carver Heights Ministry operates an after school program for 22 children in grades K-9, in the Carver Heights neighborhood. There is a need for volunteers to help with homework, to supervise the playground, to prepare snacks. Anyone with expertise in computers is especially needed! If you can spare two or three hours a week and want to participate in a very rewarding volunteer experience, if you would like to visit the facility or want more information, please call Liz Arnold at 314-3493 or Jean McFerren at 728-1657.
WELCOME: We would like to welcome our new home owners and look forward to getting acquainted with them through the coming year. Lakeside Terrace residents say hello and welcome to: Daniel Barrett at 11 Lake Griffin Dr., Richard and LaDonna Johnson, who arrived from Danville, Illinois to their new home at 59 Eden Drive and Ron Koerber at 29 Lake Griffin Dr., from Crystal Lake, Illinois.
MANAGERS DESK
We would like to thank everyone who was able to attend our 20th Celebration the other night. We had great food (thanks to Nancy Vollmer and Crew) and everyone had fun looking at the photo albums too. Thanks again to all of you who helped to make it such a success.
Viv and I want to thank you once more for the lovely certificate wishing us well in Michigan.
The Good Sams Club would appreciate your cooperation when we have a funeral meal to prepare. A notice announcing the arrangements for services, fellowship and meals will be posted in the Clubhouse on the bulletin board as soon as we have the information to pass onto the park residents. Please use the sign up sheets. We must know the number of people who plan to attend said function. We can then be prepared to make the fellowship memory more comfortable for the bereaved.

"With Liberty and Justice For All"
Fl. Statute 723.071: (1)(a) If a mobile home park owner offers a mobile home park for sale, she or he shall notify the officers of the homeowners' association, stating the price and the terms and conditions of sale.
Fl. Statute 723.075: (1) In order to exercise the rights provided in s.723.071, the mobile home owners shall form an association in compliance with this section.
Seagull March 2004: Quote from Board of Directors:
"The Homeowners Association cannot enforce park rules
because we are not resident owned.
Orlando Sentinel 12/28/03 = Ignoring one rule is an infringement by the Board on its duties and responsibilities. As such, the board members place themselves and the association in danger of being sued to enforce the rules.
Did you know that failure to obey the law as set forth in FL. Statute 723 allows the park owner to deny the homeowners the right of first refusal? (FMO Feb.l2004 pg. 14)
As it stands now, the LTHA is irrelevant and useless. It needs to be reorganized and chartered properly as provided by the law.

Sunshine Committee Reminder
We have been very fortunate to have many
new residents at Lakeside Terrace.
Many times some of us become ill, and/or are
admitted to hospitals or rehab for a period of time.
Sadly, many suffer losses of family, neighbors and friends.
We would like to make sure they are remembered
by the Lakeside Terrace Social Club.
You can leave a message at my home under the clip at the door.
